Three Bars is located in the Rockies, in the south eastern corner of B.C.. The main
activity at the ranch is a horse riding program for beginners and the more advanced.
Wranglers lead morning and afternoon trail rides into high mountain vistas and along
rushing rivers and creeks. The ranch also offers fly fishing equipment, rafting and
hiking. Also has a tennis court and swimming pool.

Banff National Park
Rugged mountains, glaciers, ice-fields, alpine
meadows, cold-water lakes, mineral hot springs, deep canyons and hoodoos compose the
natural landscape and habitat for a great variety of mammals such as elk, bighorn sheep,
black and grizzly bear, and caribou. This Parks Canada web site includes information on
the Park's history, camping, and recreation.
Glacier National Park
Parks Canada home page on Glacier, a mountainous wilderness named for its more than 400
permanent glaciers.
Kootenay National Park
Part of the UNESCO Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, the park is home to abundant
wildlife, and beautiful wildflowers. Enjoy natural pools, including the Paint Pots, and
dramatic views of rugged peaks and narrow canyons. (This is a Parks Canada site.)
Mount Revelstoke National Park
This park encompasses a variety of geographical zones from dense old-growth rainforest of
giant cedar and pine, to subalpine forest, to alpine meadows and tundra. (This is a Parks
Canada site.)
Yoho National Park
This links to a Parks Canada site on Yoho, one of four Rocky Mountain parks jointly
declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. Features include: Takakkaw Falls,
one of the highest waterfalls in Canada; the Natural Bridge, carved out of solid rock; and
the Burgess Shale fossil deposits.
