More than 50 species of trees along with interpretive signs can be found in this six acre arboretum, located on the north and south sides of the freeway between Spokane and Idaho Streets. Interpretive signs are provided. Sorry, dogs are not allowed.

Historic Sites

Treaty Rock Park. 705 N. Compton Street, Post Falls, ID 83854. Phone: 208-773-0539.

The Treaty Rock, listed on the National Historic Register, features the words "June 1, 1871, Frederick Post" plus Native American pictographs is a contract involving land cession between Frederick Post, German immigrant and founder of Post Falls, and Chief Andrew Seltice, Coeur d'Alene Indian Tribe.
