White Bird lies in the White Bird Canyon near the Salmon River. With the Salmon and Snake Rivers close by, this scenic destination offers a wide variety of outdoor recreation such as fishing, hunting, jet boat tours, whitewater rafting, hiking and much more. From White Bird you can drive into Hells Canyon to Pittsburg Landing which provides a picnic area and a boat launch into the Snake River.
