Founded in 1931, the museum is one of the oldest continuously operated museums in the Northwest. The collection contains artifacts pertaining to the mining, logging, ranching, farming, and settlement of North Central Idaho as well as a history of the Monastery of St. Gertrude. The Rhoades Emmanuel Memorial contains a unique collection of Asian and European artifacts, some of which date to the Ming Dynasty in China (1368-1644). A major fundraiser is the annual Raspberry Festival usually scheduled for early August.

A recreational-based community of approximately 150 people 51 miles east of Moscow at the end of State Highway 8 in the Clearwater National Forest.

Shattuck Creek Ranch and Outfitters
Located in the Clearwater drainage of the Bitterroot Mountains. Outfit for elk, deer, cougar, and bear. Hunts include: horse camp, ATV camp, trailer camp, deluxe lodge, and Cabin. Licensed and Bonded since 1985. Site offers hunting report for previous year and prospects for current year.

The Chief Joseph Foundation
The Chief Joseph Foundation was established on the Nez Perce reservation of Idaho in 1991 to promote Nez Perce cultural preservation, community pride, and community healing through activities primarily centered around the Appaloosa horse. The Appaloosa horse and the Nez Perce people have cultural and emotional bonds that have historical prominence and significance.
