Year round recreation including surfing, fishing, beach access, forest and the Clatsop Loop Trail, an interpretive trail where you can walk in the footsteps of Captain Clark.

Hike the Stagecoach Trail , go fishing or explore the two caves around the point. Use caution while exploring the caves as it is possible to get stranded at high tide.
Lewis and
Clark National Historical Park
This park is rich in history. In this park you can follow Lewis and
Clarks' footsteps, discover the heritage of the Native people and
explore the rainforests and coastal views.

Take the 2-1/2 mile hike from the parking lot to the summit of Saddle Mountain. Be prepared with the appropriate attire as you ascend from a 1,650 foot elevation from the parking lot to the summit at 3,283 elevation.
