Savor Cannon Beach Wine & Culinary Festival - March
Wine tastings, wine dinners and a wine walk through art galleries and stores plus other activities are featured at this festival which lasts for 3 days.

Stormy Weather Arts Festival - November
Each year the Cannon Beach art community puts on this festival for art lovers. Enjoy music, theater, poetry and art through a variety of writers, singers, composers, painters, sculptors and more at local businesses.

Located 1 mile south of Cannon Beach off the highway, Arcadia State Recreation Site is a wonderful place to spend time at the beach. Here you can surf, watch tide pools or have a picnic. This beach stretches between 2 headlands, Humbug Point to the north and Lion Rock to the south. Low tide allows you to to pass both headlands.

Part of the Three Capes Scenic Route, this scenic viewpoint features an 1890's Cape Meares lighthouse that you can tour, hiking and walking trails through old growth spruce trees including the "Octopus Tree". Viewing migrating whales is possible in the winter and spring.

Located 2 miles north of Gearhart off Highway 101, Del Rey is a wonderful place to enjoy the ocean and beach activities including kite flying and building sand castles. Enjoy beautiful sunsets.

Ecola Park is located between Seaside and Cannon Beach stretching the coastline for 9 miles. This day use park offers a walk through a Sitka spruce forest that opens to a grassy bluff with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Hiking trails provide cliff side viewpoints of secluded coves, forested promontories and an abandoned lighthouse. This is a popular place for surfing and wildlife viewing where you may spot gray whales migrating in the winter and spring.

Beginning in the Civil War until the end of World War II, the fort was in service for 84 years. This unique park features a historic shipwreck and of course the historical fort. In the summer an underground tour runs through a rare gun battery that also served as a command center during World War II. Explore a variety of habitats by hiking 6 miles of trails or by biking the 9 miles of paved trails. Swimming, fishing, canoeing and a boat ramp are available at Coffenbury Lake and 2 smaller lakes nearby.

Located 5 miles south of Cannon Beach, Hug Point offers forested picnic areas and a short walk to the beach. Discover a seasonal waterfall, caves carved into sandstone cliffs and tide pools by walking a short distance to the north.

Located off Highway 101 north of Rockaway, Manhattan Beach is a relaxing place for picnic and provides access to the beach.

Nehalem Bay Park is situated between the bay and the ocean on a 4 mile long sand spot. Walk over the sand dunes for your beach activities such as flying a kite and beach combing where you may find shells and agates. A bike path almost 2 miles long provides a stunning view of the bay. Other recreational opportunities include kayaking, crabbing, clamming, fishing and wildlife viewing. Pet friendly facility.

Oswald has a secluded sandy beach and miles of hiking trails including 13 miles of the Oregon Coast Trail. Cape Falcon and Neah-kah-nie Mountain are two headlands offering more hikes. Surfing is a popular activity here.

Located 8 miles northeast of Necanicum Junction off Highway 26, Saddle Mountain is best known for hiking trails where you can discover wildflowers, stunning scenery and a panoramic view from the summit of Saddle Mountain. For a shorter hike, take the 10 minute hike to the viewpoint on Humbug Mountain.

Sunset Beach offers access to the ocean with a wide range of views from Cape Disappointment to the north and Ecola State Park to the south. There is an ADA accessible boardwalk leading to the beach.
