City of Rufus
Rufus is located off Interstate 84, in the Columbia River Gorge, 100 miles east of Portland and 100 miles West of Pendleton.  Rufus, population about 270,  is primarily a residential community with small commercial businesses catering to interstate highway travelers as well as local residents.
