Campgrounds

Mount Rainier National Park has more than 560 campsites in seven different campgrounds.

Inns and Lodges

The park offers two inns, Paradise Inn and National Park Inn. Both are National Historic Landmark Inns and provide rustic retreats within the boundaries of the national park. The inns offer accommodation as well as dining to guests and day visitors. Food services including cafeterias and snack bars.

The inns are operated by concessionaire Guest Services, an authorized concessionaire of the National Park Service. PO Box 108, Ashford WA 98304-0108. Phone: 360-569-2275; Fax: 360-569-2770.

Paradise Inn, Paradise
Built in 1917 using Alaskan Cedar charred by a fire, and taken from the nearby Silver Forest. The lobby is still graced by hand-hewn furniture, tables, piano and grandfather clock. The Inn is open only during summer, although the road is kept plowed throughout winter.

National Park Inn, Longmire
Moved to its present location in 1920, then rebuilt after a fire destroyed much of the original building in 1926. Cross-country skiing and snow shoe rentals available. Guided tours on weekends and holidays. The only accommodation open year-round.
