This 1,612-acre park was once part of the path of the Chicago-Milwaukee-St. Paul-Pacific Railroad. The park features more than 100 miles of trail extending from Cedar Falls to the Columbia River. High trestles provide spectacular views of the valley below. There are four campgrounds along the trail, each with three to four campsites, one picnic table and a vault toilet.
Lake Easton State Park. 15 miles west of Cle Elum off I-90 exit 70.
Lake Easton State Park is a forested, 516-acre year-round camping park with 24,000 feet of freshwater access on the shores of Lake Easton in the Cascade Mountain foothills. The park has beautiful mountain views and hiking trails to explore in the summer and cross country and snowmobiling trails to enjoy in the winter. The park's location also allows for snowy winter-sport opportunities.
