Gas Works has a large hill that is popular for kite flying, a large play barn and play area, sundial and a beautiful view of Seattle. For the hikers, the Burke-Gilman Trail runs past the parking lot following the Burlington Northern Railroad for 12½ miles to Kirkland Log Boom Park.
