Wildlife

Tofino Mudflats Wildlife Management Area
Part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Clayoquot Sound, this wildlife area has diverse habitats for numerous types of wildlife. Here you will find tidal flats, shallow to deep subtidal areas, rock and gravel beaches, marshes, tidal channels, streams, riparian areas, and dense coastal temperate rainforest.
