Balanced Rock
Located 17 miles west of Buhl near the
town of Castleford. This geographic anomaly is 40 feet high,
shaped like a camel's head, and balances on a teeny tiny
perch measuring just a few feet across. There's also
Balanced Rock Park 1 mile away where you can picnic by the
creek, barbeque, play or hike.
Shoshone Falls
3 miles east of Twin Falls on Falls
Avenue. At 212 feet, the falls are higher
than Niagara Falls. Best viewed during the spring
and early summer. There are recreational facilities, playgrounds, hiking trails, picnic areas,
boat ramp, swimming area, and scenic overlook.

Craters of the Moon National Monument
The Monument lies on U.S. Alternate Route 93, 29 kilometers
southwest of Arco in Butte and Blaine counties. Closest
interstate is I-84 to the south.
