Vista House at Crown Point State Park
An interpretive Columbia River Gorge and Crown Pointcenter and the most photographed icon of the Columbia River Gorge. Located on the western end of the Historic Columbia River Highway, Vista House has been operated by The Friends of Vista House, in cooperation with the Oregon Parks & Recreation Department, since 1982.

Scenic Byways

Historic Columbia River Highway
This 70 mile/112.7 km scenic byway takes you to overlooks that offer amazing views of the Columbia River Gorge and many waterfalls, featuring Multnomah Falls. See a variety of colorful wildflowers in the spring. The Columbia River formed the last leg of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and was part of the early route of the Oregon Trail. Plan anywhere from a 2 hour drive to 3 to 5 days depending upon your agenda.
