Ainsworth has a classic campground consisting of 40 full hookup canopied sites, 6 walk-in tent sites, designated bike-in camp area, 1 ADA campsite, flush toilets, showers, firewood and interpretive programs. Reservations are accepted as soon as January.

Cascade Locks Marine Park RV and Tent Campground. 355 WaNaPa Street, PO Box 307, Cascade Locks, OR 97014. Phone: 541-374-8619.

Located at the Port of Cascade Locks, the Marine Park offers 10 sites with water and electricity hook ups, 5 sites without hook ups, dump station, restroom, shower, free Wi-Fi and a book exchange in the Port office. Reservations are accepted.

  • Black Lake Campground: Accessed by Forest Service Road 2820. 3 single sites (none are ADA or reservable), no water, no toilets and no garbage disposal. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,740 feet. GPS: 45.6149; -121.759.
  • Cloud Cap Saddle Campground: Located off Forest Service Road 3512, a narrow, winding road that requires a high clearance vehicle, and down the road from the Historic Cloud Inn. 3 single sites (none are ADA or reservable), vault toilet, potable water or garbage service, access to Cloud Cap-Tilly Jane North trailhead. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 5,900 feet. GPS: 45.40247; -121.65505.
  • Frog Lake Campground: Located on the north end of Frog Lake off Forest Service Road 2610. 33 single sites, wheelchair accessible campground, (RV's up to 22 feet in length), potable water, vault toilet and recreation areas. Nearest town is Government Camp. Elevation: 3,800 feet. GPS: 45.22338; -121.69407.
  • Grindstone Campground: Located near Barlow Creek off Forest Service Road 3530. 3 single sites, (none are ADA or reservable), vault toilet, no water or garbage service. Nearest town is Maupin. Elevation: 3,400. GPS: 45.24702; -121.65646.
  • Kinnikinnick (Laurance Lake) Campground: Located on the southern edge of Laurance Lake off Forest Service Road 2840. 20 walk-in access only campsites (non-reservable), 2 vault toilets, no water and no garbage disposal. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,000 feet. GPS: 45.45748; -121.66343.
  • Lost Lake Campground: Located on the eastern shore of Lost Lake of Forest Service Road 1340. 125 non-reservable sites, (4 double sites, 75 ADA sites), RV's up to 32 feet in length, potable water, 18 vault toilets, wheelchair accessible campground, no electric or sewer hookups, dump station is available and recreation areas. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,200 feet. GPS: 45.50080; -121.81641.
  • Lost Lake Resort: Located on the shores of Lost Lake and up 3,100 feet on the slopes of Mt. Hood. The resort has a well-stocked general store in the lodge. Rustic cabins are available for rent. Elevation: 3,140 feet. GPS: 45.50080; -121.81641.
  • Nottingham Campground: Located on the East Fork Hood River off Highway 35. 23 single sites, (5 ADA sites, RV's up to 32 feet in length), no water, no restroom and campground is wheelchair accessible. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,300 feet. GPS: 45.3671; -121.5677.
  • Rainy Lake Campground: Located on Rain Lake off Forest Service Road 2820 (Dead Point Road). 4 tent campsites (none are ADA or reservable), 2 vault toilets, no water and no garbage disposal. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 4,100 feet. GPS: 45.62600; -121.75883.
  • Sherwood Campground: Located on the East Fork Hood River off Highway 35. 14 non-reservable campsites (5 ADA sites, RV's up to 16 feet in length), 2 vault toilets, no water and no garbage disposal. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,000 feet. GPS: 45.39481; -121.57034.
  • Tilly Jane Campground: Located near the border of Mount Hood Wilderness and off Forest Service Road 3512, a narrow, winding road that requires a high clearance vehicle. 14 non-reservable tent sites, (5 ADA sites), 2 vault toilets, no water or garbage service, access to Tilly Jane Trail and Timberlane Trail. Campground is wheelchair accessible. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 5,000 feet. GPS: 45.39997; -121.64772.
  • Wahtum Lake Campground: Located on Wahtum Lake east of the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness of Forest Service Road 1310. 5 single sites campsites (none are ADA or reservable), vault toilet, no water and no garbage service. Nearest town is Hood River. Elevation: 3,900 feet. GPS: 45.57731; -121.79247.

Camping at Viento consists of 55 electrical sites with water, over 15 sites with water nearby, 1 ADA campsite, flush toilets, showers and interpretive programs. Reservations are accepted as soon as January.
