Note: The nearest public phones and grocery services to the Manastash area are in Ellensburg.
Manastash (replaces old Buck Meadows campground). On road #3104, 26 miles west of Ellensburg. Fees: Northwest Forest Pass required; Day, $5 day, Annual, $30. Facilities: Vault toilets, graveled entry roads, drinking water, tables, stoves. Activities: Camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle and jeep riding.
Quartz Mountain. Near end of Road #3100, 33 miles west of Ellensburg. Fees: None. Facilities: Pit toilet, tables, fire grills, no potable water. Units: 3 camping or picnicking. Activities: Camping, picnicking, scenery, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding.
Riders Camp. On Road #3100, 25 miles west of Ellensburg. Fees: Northwest Forest Pass required; Day, $5; Annual, $30. Facilities: Vault toilet, graveled entry roads and parking areas for dispersed camping. Stock water available at creek. Activities: Camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle and jeep riding.
Tamarack Spring. 25 miles south of Cle Elum on Road #3120 at forest boundary. Fees: None. Facilities: Pit toilet, table, stock water, no potable water. Units: 3 camping or picnicking. Activities: Camping, picnicking, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding.
