Icewater Creek. On Taneum Road #33, 20 miles south of Cle Elum. Fees: Single, $8; Double, $16; Extra vehicle per night, $6. Facilities: Vault toilets, tables, stoves, drinking water, motorcycle practice trail. Units: 14 camping. Activities: Camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding. Elevation: 2,500 feet. GPS: 47.1127; -120.904.
Taneum. Taneum Road #33, 18 miles south of Cle Elum. Fees: Single, $10; Double, $20; Extra vehicle per night, $8. Facilities: Vault toilets, tables, stoves or fire rings, community kitchen, potable water. Units: 13 camping; 12 picnicking. Activities: Camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding, motorcycle riding. Also, the Taneum Guard station is available as rental. Taneum Junction. 20 miles south of Cle Elum on Taneum Road #33. Fees: Northwest Forest Pass required; Day, $5; Annual, $30; Possible Day Use Fees in 2003. Facilities: Vault toilet, tables, no potable water. Units: Large, open group site with capacity of about 15 vehicles and 75 people also has an improved dispersed area for group camping. Activities: Camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, motorcycle riding. Elevation: 2,800 feet. GPS: 47.1119; -120.933.
South Fork Meadow. 25 miles south of Cle Elum on South Fork Taneum Road #3300. Fees: Northwest Forest Pass required; Day, $5; Annual, $30. Facilities: Vault toilet, tables, no potable water.
