Performing Arts

Skagit Community Art Theatre (SCAT)
A volunteer theatrical ensemble composed of residents living in the Skagit Valley area that brings quality family entertainment to the neighboring communities.  SCAT presents top-notch dramas, comedies, mysteries and musicals with an emphasis on community involvement.

Skagit Performing Arts Council
The council is an umbrella group for most of Skagit County's performing arts organizations.  In addition to its other many activities, the council presents a Showcase of Performing Arts ("SOPA") annually in early autumn.  Check their web for schedules.

Skagit Symphony
The orchestra consists of 63 instrumentalists from the surrounding communities who perform formal concerts and contribute talent and time to bringing classical music awareness to schools and aiding other non-profit organizations in fund raising efforts.
