This small, award-winning winery is a pioneer in the Washington State wine industry being founded in 1979 when there were only sixteen
of today's 100 plus wineries. Hoodsport produces limited
bottlings of some of the finest award winning wines including traditional vinifera varietals such as Chardonnay, Merlot, and Johannisberg Riesling.
Hoodsport also features smaller productions of unique varieties like Island Belle Merlot and
Lemberger-Cabernet. In 1994 its Cabernet Sauvignon won a gold medal at VinExpo in France, an exceptional honor for a red wine from the United States. Gift shop and wine tasting daily, 10 am to
6 pm.
