10TH ANNUAL KITSAP COLOR CLASSIC:  Kitsap Color Classic (KCC) is Cascade Bicycle Club’s second oldest ride, after Chilly Hilly. This legacy clearly means something to Cascade members because, in 2001, 52% of registered KCC riders were club members.

This year’s event does not break with tradition. Riders will enjoy many loop options, ranging from 14 to 64 miles around Kitsap Peninsula. Each fall, riders return to this event to enjoy spectacular colors of autumn foliage, not always as vibrant around Seattle’s coniferous landscape.

The Edmonds Bicycle Group is sponsoring its popular all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the Masonic Lodge start line in Edmonds. Riders who choose not to ferry to the Peninsula from Edmonds may also leaver directly from a Kingston start line.

Pre-registration before September 27 is $20 for Edmonds departure and $15 for Kingston departure. $5 discounts are available for Cascade members, and kids 6-12 can ride for $5 (under 6 ride free). You can register today online from www.cascade.org, or pick up a registration form at one of your local bike retailers.

Sponsors for this year’s KCC include: NewsRadio 710 KIRO, Clif Bar, Gateway Telecom, Northwest Federal Credit Union, and Propel Fitness Water. For additional information, call (206) 522-BIKE or (206) 522-3222.
