to Orcas Island for more than 100 years. The Hotel enjoys full waterfront
views of Harney Channel, and has been fully restored. Two restaurants are
located in the Hotel, a Prime Steak and Seafood restaurant and bar called
Octavia's Bistro, and the Orcas Hotel Cafe providing fresh baked goods,
light lunches and your favorite latte'. The hotel's location provides easy
access to ferry to other islands, kayaking and whale watching tours.
This
historic resort and marina was originally the estate created with great
dedication by Robert Moran. Listed on the National Register of
Historic Places, the resort features the 54 room Moran Mansion, the Moran
museum, music room and pipe organ, gift shops, lounge, veranda and
restaurants. Teakwood floors, rich mahogany paneling, original
furnishings and Tiffany accents contribute to its elegant ambience.
Adjacent to the Moran mansion's gardens, guest rooms and suites are perched
on hillsides and on landscaped grounds along Cascade Bay.
