A triathlon or duathlon (covering the first two legs), consisting of an 8.8 mile run, a 43 mile bicycle leg and a 23 mile paddling leg.

Ski Joring Races
Ski joring is a winter sport where a person on skis is pulled by a horse, dog or motor vehicle. This competition consists of the horse, rider and skier negotiating the course. The skier in tow who must negotiate slalom gates and jumps.

The Red Lodge Festival of Nations
The Festival of Nations recognizes the city's broad range of multi-cultural origins with ethnic dancing, music, games and food.
