Jonsrud Viewpoint Park
North of Highway 26 on Bluff Road is a designated stop on the Oregon Scenic
Byways program. Brick pathways, telescope viewing, spectacular views of Mt. Hood
and the Sandy River Valley and informational signs about the Barlow Road, part
of the Oregon Trail.
Meinig Memorial Park.

5-acres of forested hiking trails, log gazebo available, amphitheater,
restrooms, shady picnic areas, a year-round creek and Fantasy Forest-a
handicap-accessible playground. Site for the Sandy Mountain Festival, Music in
Meinig and Movies in the Park.

Sandy River Park
Enter the trailhead at the end of Marcy Street; parking is available in the
Sandy High School gravel parking lot on Bluff Road. Sandy River Park is a
124-acre undeveloped passive use park that abuts Cedar Creek and the Sandy
River. Hike to the Sandy River on a 1-mile stretch of old logging road/trail. In
the fall salmon can be seen swimming up Cedar Creek to spawn.
Tickle Creek Park/Trail. East of 362nd and south of Dubarko Road.

Wildwood Recreation Site. GPS: -121.9867, 45.3561.
Interpretive signs, paved paths along the river, Cascade Streamwatch underwater
fish viewing station and picnic areas.
Veterans Memorial Square.
Corner of Highways 26 and 211, Sandy, OR.
A statue has been erected to honor all war veterans. The landscaped area offers
a drinking fountain and a gathering place for Memorial Day and Veteran's Day
tributes as well as an opportunity for private reflection.
