Beverly Beach is a popular park with it's walkway that goes under the highway then extending the beach from Yaquina Head where you can view the lighthouse to the headlands of Otter Rock. Other recreation includes all the usual beach activities such as kite flying and surfing, picnicking, hiking trails, camping and a children's playground.

Boiler Bay offers an amazing panoramic viewpoint where you can see grey whales all year, spot many types of birds and watch the surf. At low tide the boiler of the J. Marhoffer Steamboat, sunk by an explosion on May 18, 1910, can be seen.

Open year-round, D River Recreation Site has the shortest river in the world that flows only 120 feet from Devils Lake into the Pacific Ocean. Located off the highway, access to the park is easy. Be sure to visit in the spring and enjoy on one of the world's largest kite festivals.

Fogarty Creek Recreation Area is open year round where you can have a picnic in one of the wind sheltered picnic areas, take a walk on the wooden footbridges, go bird watching or hike one of the trails.

Otter Crest offers a viewpoint 500 feet from above the ocean. Enjoy the stunning scenery of the Pacific Ocean, Devil's Punchbowl and Cape Foulweather along with whale watching.

Rocky Creek has the official Whale Spoken Here site where you can spot gray whales. Sea lions, seals and birds are other wildlife that can be viewed.
