Longmire is 95 miles (153 km) southeast of Seattle. Site of the Mineral Spring Resort as developed by James Longmire in 1884.
Longmire Museum is housed in the park's original headquarters.
The Grove of the Patriarchs is a short walk from the parking area near the Stevens Canyon Entrance. Douglas fir, western red-cedar and western hemlock.
