Government Mineral Springs Cabin: Located north of Carson off Forest Road 3065, this 2 story cabin with a covered front porch features a large kitchen with a propane stove, dining room, and living room with fireplace and two futons that fold down into double beds. Two upstairs bedrooms can accommodate five, with two single beds in one bedroom and one bunk bed that sleeps three in a second bedroom. There is a vault toilet, propane heater, propane lights and fire wood. There is no potable water. When snow is present all visitors must park at the sno-park. A Washington Sno-park permit is required. Nearest town is Carson. GPS: 45.88119; -121.993146.

Open year-round, Beacon Rock is located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. All campsites are first come, first served basis. There are 3 campgrounds: the main campground offers 26 tent sites and a limited number of sites that can accommodate RV's over 20 feet. Woodard Creek Campground is open year-round and has 5 utility sites with electricity, water and sewage that can accommodate RV's up to 40 feet long. The equestrian campsites are located at the equestrian trailhead that offer 2 standard sites that will each accommodate a horse trailer and each have a hi-line for horses, livestock water and a CXT vault toilet. No potable water and no electricity. Group campground for tent and RV use accommodates up to 200 people and include a kitchen shelter with power, 1 picnic shelter, 2 three sided sleeping shelters and 2 vault toilets. Showers are available in main campground and moorage area.

  • Beaver Campground: Located along the Wind River near the Hatchery off Forest Road 30. 18 single sites, 5 double sites and 2 group sites (20-50 people for both tent camping and RV’s up to 25 feet. There are vault toilets, flush toilets and potable water, but no hook-ups for water, electricity or sewer. No dump station. Sites can be reserved. Nearest town is Carson. Elevation: 1,053 feet. GPS: 45.85663; -121.95679.
  • Crest Horse Camp/Trailhead: Located off Forest Road 60 near Pacific Crest trailhead. 4 minimally developed campsites with only 1 back-in (others can park on the road), vault toilet and no potable water. Sites are on a first come, first served basis. Nearest towns are Carson, WA and Trout Lake, WA. Elevation: 3,494 feet. GPS: 45.9089; -121.801.
  • Falls Creek Horse Camp: Located adjacent to Forest Road 65, this campground has 4 single sites, 1 vault toilet and access to several trails including Race track Trail #171 that leads into Indian Heaven Wilderness. There is no water. Sites are on a first come, first served basis. Nearest town is Carson, WA. Elevation: 3,497 feet. GPS: 45.966512; -121.844681.
  • Government Mineral Springs Campground: Located near Trapper Creek Wilderness off Forest Road 3065, this campground has 5 single sites for both tent camping and RV’s up to 18 feet with 1 vault toilet. There is no water and no hookups for water, electricity or sewer. Sites are on a first come, first served basis. Nearest town is Carson, WA. Elevation: 1,230 feet. GPS: 45.88209; -121.99566.
  • Panther Creek Campground: Located north of Carson, WA off Forest Road 65 (Panther Creek Road), this campground has 26 single tent sites, 6 double tent sites and 52 sites for RV’s up to 25 feet. There is potable water, 1 vault toilet, a host during the season, access to Pacific Crest Trail and is in walking distance to Panther Creek Falls. Sites can be reserved. Nearest town is Carson, WA. Elevation: 912 feet. GPS: 45.82058; -121.87946.
  • Paradise Creek Campground: Located on Paradise Creek, and on Forest Road 30, this campground has 34 single sites, 8 double sites for both tent camping and RV’s up to 25 feet. There is potable water, 1 vault toilet, a host during the season and is approximately 5 miles from Falls Creek Falls Trailhead. There are no electric or sewer hookups and no dump station. Sites can be reserved. Nearest town is Carson, WA. Elevation: 1,539. GPS: 45.949325; -121.93384.
