Cascade Loop - Snohomish River Valley
This 400 mile scenic driving tour extends from the Puget Sound to
the Cascade Mountains. This portion follows the Skykomish River as it ascends up the Cascade Mountains to Stevens
Pass where you can enjoy a picnic lunch then walk on one of the many
trails just off the highway where you can view the scenic
waterfalls. This route will take you through the small towns of
Sultan, Gold Bar, Index, Skykomish and
Stevens Pass.
Stevens Pass Greenway
This byway follows the Skykomish River from Puget Sound through the
Cascade Mountains then descends into the Wenatchee River Valley. Length:
89.2 miles; 143.6 km. Time to Allow: 2.5 hours

Located on the west side of the Cascades 2 miles northeast of Gold Bar, Wallace Falls has shoreline Wallace River, Wallace Lake, Jay Lake, Shaw Lake and the Skykomish River providing stunning scenery and wildlife viewing. See the beautiful 265 foot waterfall, Wallace Falls along with the other waterfalls in this park.
