The northern portion of Black Hills National Forest, located on the Wyoming side features a popular point of interest, the Devils Tower National Monument. The Keyhole Reservoir and the historic and sacred Native American site, Inyan Kara are also nearby attractions.
Devil's Tower National Monument
Located 27 miles northwest of Sundance and rising 1,267 feet above the
Belle Fourche River, Devils Tower is the first national monument
established in 1906. This unique rock attraction was featured in the
movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Of greater significance,
this site is a sacred place and important landmark to the Lakota and
other Native American Tribes.

Located between Sundance and Moorcroft on the western edge of the Black Hills, Keyhole offers many attractions featuring wildlife viewing and bird watching. There is a privately run marina for water lovers. Picnic areas, playground, convenience store and restrooms just some of the other attractions.
