The historic town of Canyonville is Oregon's third oldest towns and is one Oregon's original towns along the Applegate Trail providing an important supply station for early travelers passing through in 1843.
Canyonville is located on Interstate 5 at the foot of the Cascade Mountains, approximately forty miles north of Grants Pass where the South Umpqua River and Cow Creek runs by.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Canyonville is an easy gateway to Crater Lake and Umpqua Forest and Recreation Area.
