Puget Sound Travel Region
SeaTac, Washington

The City of SeaTac, incorporated in February 1990, is located midway between Seattle and Tacoma and is the home of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The airport is the central feature of SeaTac and brings in approximately 14,000 visitors daily; and many stay, dine and shop in the City of SeaTac.

With more than 5,350 guest rooms, SeaTac has the largest concentration of hotels and motels outside of downtown Seattle.

Both Horizon and Alaska Airlines are headquartered here and the Boeing Spares Distribution Center distributes parts worldwide from SeaTac.

The city is home to more than 25,000 residents and has fostered a growing business community and several new parks including North SeaTac Park, Angle Lake Park and the Highline Botanical Garden. These parks provide baseball and soccer fields, many new buildings, as well as a dazzling array of plants. Angle Lake Park is also the site of the annual International Festival held in late June each year.
