Twisp, Washington

Twisp, located at the confluence of the Methow and Twisp Rivers is accessed by Highway 20. Despite being a rural place, Twisp is the largest town in the Methow Valley.

Known for the growing art community, Twisp offers art galleries located downtown and public sculptures scattered throughout town. Be sure to stop by the Confluence Gallery and Art Center to view the art by local artists and find the up coming events. Stop by the Methow Valley Interpretive Center to learn about the Native Americans.

A destination for year-round activities, the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest and the nearby North Cascades National Park provides hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, backpacking and climbing. The Methow and Twisp Rivers offer fishing, rafting and kayaking. For those who like the snow, skiing and snowboarding the Loup Loup Ski Bowl is the way to go.
