Yellowstone National Park
Tower Junction

Tower Falls is a 132 foot high waterfall with towering rocks on each side of the waterfall, hence the name.

The Petrified Tree, one of the original three tree that used to stand here, is located approximately 2 miles west of Tower Junction. The Petrified Tree is a stump still standing where it grew millions of years ago. The tree was petrified or fossilized after being covered by volcanic ash.
