As the name suggests, a waterfall is the centerpiece of this community of 50,000 people. It can be enjoyed in a walk or cycle through the 14 mile Snake River Greenbelt.

For the outdoor enthusiast, Idaho Falls is located in the middle of well known recreation areas including Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Henry's Lake, Craters of the Moon and Kelly Canyon Ski Resort. In addition Idaho Falls offers many attractions in town including theater, symphony, the Museum of Idaho, Tautphaus Park Zoo and plenty more.

Communities surrounding Idaho Falls include Ammon, Rexburg, Blackfoot and much of western Wyoming including Jackson Hole.
