Salt Spring Island, British Columbia

At 180 square kilometers, Salt Spring is the largest of the Gulf Islands north of Victoria and is accessible by ferry from the mainland or Vancouver Island. Salt Spring consists of three communities, Ganges, Fulford, and Vesuvius.

The mild climate in Salt Spring along with Ruckle and Mount Maxwell Provincial Parks plus the Gulf Islands National Park provides plenty of outdoor recreational activities from kayaking to hiking and biking.

Salt Spring offers numerous accommodations to suit every taste, from quaint bed and breakfasts to vacation rentals such as guest houses plus cabins and cottages. Hotels in Salt Spring have amenities such as spa services, fine dining plus wellness and relaxation.
