For the nature lovers who love to camp, Spokane has both private and public campgrounds. Public campsites are located at both Mount Spokane and Riverside State Parks. Find information on the campgrounds by exploring this page.

Mount Spokane State Park. Located 25 miles northeast of Spokane. Drive north on Highway 2 to Highway 206 for 15 miles to park entrance at N. 26107 Mt. Spokane Park Drive, Mead, WA 99021. Phone: 509-238-4258; Toll-free: 1-888-226-7688.

Mount Spokane is located in the Selkirk Mountains offering amazing views of Washington, Idaho and Montana on clear days. This park has 8 campsites with water and flush restroom and a group camp (up to 60 people) with a vault toilet. RV's can be accommodated up to 30 feet in length. No ADA facilities are available.

The Bowl and Pitcher area in Riverside Park consists of 16 standard campsites, 2 group campsites accommodating 40 to 60 people, 16 utility hookup sites with electricity and water with a maximum length of 45 feet, the Retired Ranger vacation house, 1 dump station and 2 restrooms with showers. Also available are 10 equestrian campsites with corrals in the Equestrian area. Nine Mile Recreation Area offers 3 tent sites and 21 RV sites of varying length available. Campsite maps are available for Nine Mile Falls.
