Outdoor Recreation

Located on the shore of Hood Canal approximately a half mile north of Brinnon, Dosewallips offers many recreational activities including camping, hiking trails, boating and fishing (freshwater and saltwater), boat ramp, swimming (freshwater), clamming, crabbing, oysters, bird watching, wildlife viewing, horseshoe pits and an amphitheater.

Popular activities include beaches and dunes, hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, fishing, non-motorized boating, scuba diving, swimming, hunting, cross country skiing, snowshoeing OHV riding and scenic driving.

Olympic National Park
With the diverse landscape settings, Olympic National Park provides unlimited outdoor recreation. Winter offers activities such as snow skiing and snowshoeing. Summer offers hiking, backpacking, fishing, boating and birding.

Triton Cove State Park. Located on the Olympic Peninsula on the west side of Hood Canal, 6 miles south of Brinnon, WA 98320. Phone: 360-796-4415.

Triton Cove is a small, day-use park with an ADA-accessible boat launch, great saltwater fishing, boating, crabbing, diving and bird watching opportunities.
