Langley Mystery Weekend
Sponsored by the
Langley Chamber of Commerce, this exciting event happens on the last
weekend in February. Every year there is a "suspicious death" with clues
hidden throughout town. Check out the scene of the crime and figure out
the "who done it".

Whidbey Island full and half marathon takes place on the picturesque Island with ocean views, farmland settings, snow-capped mountains and rolling hills. There is also a kids 1k fun run.

The celebation of Whidbey Island's rich arts heritage takes place in
downtown Langley. Almost 100 artists offer free exhibits and
performances. There is music, including the Saturday Night Street dance,
food vendors, local wines and microbrews, kids zone and free shuttle
service to and from the ferries.

South Whidbey Island State Park has saltwater shoreline on Admiralty Inlet for crabbing, clamming, fishing and swimming opportunities. An old growth forest offers wonderful secluded campsites. There are over 3 miles of hiking trails.

A 600 acre forest formerly managed by the State of Washington Department of Natural Resources. Previously known as the Goss Lake Woods, they encompass a wide range of habitat. Over the years, local citizens have created in these woods a complex network of trails for non motorized public use. These trails were built and are maintained by a group of volunteers.
