North Cascades National Park. Phone: 360-854-7200; Fax: 360-856-1934.
The North Cascades National Park is located in the northernmost region of the Cascades. The wild, dramatic mountains are nearly impenetrable and remarkable because of their numerous glaciers, permanent snowfields, and sheer-walled cliffs, spires, and pinnacles. Hiking, backpacking and mountain climbing are popular recreational activities.
