The Pacific Northwest has some most beautiful and scenic hiking trails including the infamous Pacific Crest Trail. National Parks such as Glacier, Yellowstone and the Olympic, National Forests and Wilderness Areas in the Cascade Mountains and state parks offer endless miles of hiking opportunities from relaxing day hikes to challenging backcountry backpacking adventures.
